Carrie and David Grant

Carrie and David Grant are probably the best known pop vocal coaches in the UK. With a client list that includes Take That, Melanie C., Lemar, Will Young and numerous others, their credentials are second to none. It was their involvement with Fame Academy which brought them to the attention of the nation. Subsequently they were seen as vocal coaches on the three series of "Comic Relief Does Fame Academy", where they helped develop the vocal abilities of the celebrities as well as championing their cause with the judges.

"We are both very supportive of new talent and learning and are involved with supporting and presenting for The Learning Awards, Teaching Awards and UK Skills Awards and are Honorary Vice Presidents of '4Children' the after school kids club network. We regularly make keynote speeches".

At the end of 2007 Carrie and David received the prestigious Gold Badge Award presented by The British Academy of Composers and Songwriters in recognition of their outstanding contribution to British music.

They are currently featured as vocal coaches and mentors for the prime time BBC 1 Saturday evening show The One and Only, with some of the country's best tribute artists. February 2008 will see them presenting an incredible new 30 episode series for CBeebies, "Carrie and David's Popshop!" which will be a fantastic introduction for young children into pop music . This is a unique and groundbreaking programme which Carrie and David are totally passionate about, and is a further extension of their commitment to singing and music.

Both Carrie and David have a long relationship with Arts Centre Group and have contributed over the years not only to our Mentoring Project but also in holding ACG Supper Parties in their home and more recently have become Patrons.

Carrie and David say:    "The ACG has been incredibly influential in our lives since we became members back in 1986. It has played different roles for us at different times and continues to do so. We would strongly recommend checking out just how many different things the ACG offers and make use of them."
